Let's face it —We're always trying to recruit new members. Some men are not sure if Greek Life is for them. And hey, we can't blame you. There is a harsh negative stigma surrounding Greek Life on our campus. But we're here to set the record straight. It's not all a modern "Animal House." If you're looking for an organization you can be proud of, look no further.
Pi Kappa Phi is an organization of leaders. As a member, you'll surround yourself with quality men who are truly going places. Our letters are nationally recognized as "America's leading fraternity." You'll be a man of class and you'll form a life-long bond with men you'll be proud to call your brothers.
Nationally, Pi Kappa Phi boasts a membership of more than 90,000 men. This provides us with incredible opportunities & resources for networking, both on campus and across the country. With 128 initiated chapters and 13 associate chapters in 37 states, and with educational opportunities afforded no where else in the Greek community, Pi Kappa Phi has distinguished itself as a truly unique organization.
Only 3 things are required. Brothers must attend Chapter Meetings once a week, pay dues on time and in full, and meet standards.
No! We run Chapter events like socials, brotherhood, and training but most are optional. At most, it's a 5 hour-a-week committment. But, we believe that once you get to know us and see how we work, you'll want to spend as much time with us as possible.
Despite what you may have heard, not all fraternities haze or abuse their members. In PiKapp, you will never be hazed or forced to do anything you don't want to do. Our fraternity is about brotherhood, not about making you feel worthless.
The lowest on campus! Pi Kappa Phi does not use the "pay to play" system. This means that your dues are collected once each semester and are included in our budget which covers a wide variety of events. Ask to see our dues breakdown so you can see where the money goes, and what you'll get out of it.
Of course you can't. Neither could we. Everything you need to know about Greek Life, we will teach you. That's part of the fun!
Just ask! Attend any of the events on the Events page and meet our brothers. We highly encourage you to email or call our president and vice president as well. All our important contact information is listed on the Contact page.
Take the first step. Fill out the Potential New Member Information Form. Send us your info, and we'll do the rest.
We've tried to address the most common questions. If you're still curious, or have a concern you'd like to discuss, please send us a message. We'll get back to you with an answer as soon as possible.
