Fraternity Men Rock for a Cause

Variety shows to help individuals with disabilities.

Amherst, MA (March 18, 2010) – The goal of Push America, the national philanthropy of Pi Kappa Phi, is “Building leaders of tomorrow by serving people with disabilities today.” As part of Pi Kappa Phi’s tradition of supporting the efforts of Push America, the members of the UMass Amherst chapter will be hosting a Variety Show concert. The concert will be a fun and entertaining environment to help raise funds for Push America.

What: The Variety Show, organized by the members of Pi Kappa Phi at Umass, is an event that is designed to raise funds and awareness on behalf of people with disabilities in hopes to enhance the quality of their lives. The concert will consist of dance, music, and comedy acts including the Dynamics, Mission Improvable, MHC HipNotikz, Alex Erickson, Wicked Pitch, MC Dan Murphy, Dhadek SASA dance group, and Straight Hip Hop. The goal of the event is to raise roughly $7,000 for Push America as well as awareness for those with disabilities.
