Push America ePerspective – March, 2010
Push America’s ePerspective is a monthly newsletter sent to the extended family of Push America and past participants with the purpose of providing insight to the events of Push America and possible opportunities for involvement.
March 2010
The Push America office is filled with energy as we are preparing for this summer’s team events! In addition to those events, staff has been busy with other projects such as the Annual Report, facilitating spring construction events and holding the very first Regional Team Training weekend. One other project in the works is a transition from how we currently send our e-newsletters in order to ensure that you are getting the latest news from Push America. Be on the lookout in April for the new ePerspective with a slight makeover!
New to 2010: Regional Team Training
The first ever Regional Team Training took place in Lake Wylie, S.C. on March 5-7, 2010. In an effort to better prepare team members for Gear Up Florida and Journey of Hope, the weekend consisted of a cycling skills workshop, a 50 mile training ride, safe cycling and fundraising discussions, an Empathy Dinner and another 25 mile ride to finish up the weekend. It was a big success as team members left the weekend feeling more comfortable about the challenges ahead of them.

Potential Website Outages Over Next Two Weekends
Some big changes are coming to the Push America and Pi Kappa Phi office with some very important and helpful IT upgrades. We want you to be aware that over the next two weekends, March 13-14 and 20-21, there is the potential for Web site outages, mainly on each Saturday. When you try to access the Push America site, an error message will appear as if the page does not exist. If you are fundraising for an event, please be patient with us and check back throughout the day to see if your fundraising page is functioning. If you need anything, please e-mail pushamerica@pushamerica.org and we will get back to you as early as we can the following Monday. Thanks in advance for your patience!
