Executive Council Elections & Positions

Elections will be on April 25th, 2010. The positions that are open as of now are:

• Secretary
• Historian
• Push America Executive

Statements of Intent

Your statement of intent will be due by Sunday, April 4th, 2010 at 11:59pm. The intent should say “I,  _____, am interested in running for the position of _____.” That’s all.

Platform Declarations

The platforms will be due by Sunday, April 11th, 2010 at 11:59pm.  The purpose of the platform is to highlight the key reasons for why you are running the position and how you are going to affect the chapter. If you’d like an example to look at, I can send you one.

Just a note: If you would like to have a speech prepared for the day of the election that is fine, but the platform should be the shorthand of what you are going to say in your speech. Please print enough copies of your platform for all brothers to keep on election day!

Each of you can choose to be a leader within the fraternity and have a major impact on our chapter. You will have some added responsibility, but how you do one thing is how you do everything. So do the right thing and you will not be disappointed.
