Chapter Meeting Preview
Hey Guys,
This Sunday we will be talking about a lot of different things.
- The Executive Council will present you with what we came up for a solution tonight, regarding the Alcohol Policy and the FIPG policy. We will present that to you guys this Sunday. We are going to follow the formal procedure of amending (this includes getting rid of) By-Laws within our Documents. So once this document is presented to you on Sunday, we need to have the final vote for it the following Sunday. This Sunday will not be a continuation of what was already talked about on Saturday’s retreat. This will be an examination of a document, so all questions and comments will be solely about the document.
- Another thing that we would like to do is work on some goals for the next year. It is each of your jobs to choose 5 goals from this list (or if you can think of others) and have those decisions ready for Chapter by Sunday. Here are the goals:
- Institutionalize the variety show for the Spring
- Build Alumni relationships
- Chapter Fundraising
- Top 10 for Push Fundraisers (Nationwide)
- 45 active Brothers next year
- Academic Program (More of a To Do) Implement into By-Laws and have it be fully functioning
- Become bureaucratically sound (finances, sound chapter operations, i.e. Academic Program, Refined Constitution)
- Reinvigorate the Chapter with the traditions of Pi Kappa Phi, to increase Brotherhood retention.
- Individual/Chapter-wide fundraising goal for Push America
- Improve overall level of productivity
- Invite some PNMs that you know to this Chapter Meeting. If you want them to see the other side of this Fraternity, this would be a good opportunity to do so.
- You guys need to RECRUIT! RECRUIT! RECRUIT! This semester is so crucial for our existence, please guys, lets get pushing this whole thing.
Last but not least, Chapter will be in room 163C in the Campus Center, starting at 5pm. The attire will be Shirt, tie, and pin. Start looking through the Student Creed because we will be reciting that on Sunday as well. If you cannot be there, please email ASAP!
In PKP,
Russell Brown
President
